Why will CitiDirect require Sun Java™ software?
CitiDirect® Online Banking takes advantage of Java software to deliver its wide range of banking solutions and services. Until now, CitiDirect has used Microsoft® Java software. However, during 2004 Microsoft will end its support of Java. As a result, the CitiDirect platform is being updated to run on Sun Microsystems Java software and all CitiDirect clients will be required to update their computers in order to continue using the CitiDirect application.
