Administrator rights to your personal computer (PC) are required if updates or installs of any third party components are needed to run CitiDirect Online Banking on Windows NT, 2000 and XP systems. These components include Microsoft's Internet Explorer (IE) and Java Virtual Machine (JVM).

When you run the Check My PC program available on this site under the Getting Started tab, you will be notified if your system needs any installs or updates to these components along with instructions on how to obtain them.

In addition to administrator rights, you must have:

Full control of the Downloaded Program Files Folder and the root directory of c:\ on your system.

Ability to write to the Local Machine/software key in the registry.

Full control to the Windows System Directory/Java and Subfolders.

Access to your browser's Temporary Internet Files Folder.

If you do not have administrator rights to your personal computer, please contact your technical support staff.
